I decided to kick off my very first #StreetArtSunday project in Scotland’s second city Glasgow.
Street Art Sunday is where once a month I travel to a city with great Street Art and show you all my great finds over on @ishootstreetart , on a Sunday.
Glasgow’s local council has created a great street art trail, all within walking distance of the main city centre.
The first piece was produced in 2009, and the portfolio of work has expanded over time , with the help of a Glasgow City Council mural fund. There are 19 stops to explore on the trail, and can easily be completed over a couple of afternoons.
Here’s a few of my favourite pieces on the trail , definitely worth getting out and exploring, on your trip to Glasgow.
Glasgows Panda by Klingatron – Gordon Lane
Big Birds by Rogue One & Art Pistol – Howard Street / Dunlop Street
Glasgow Tiger by Klingatron & Art Pistol- Clyde Street
Badminton by Guido Van Hellen- Wilson Street
Hip Hop Marionette by Rogue One & Art Pistol- John Street
Argyle Street Cafe by Smug – Argyle Street
Space Man by Recoat & Ali Wylie- New Wynd
Hand Shadow Puppets by Rogue One – Cowcaddens Underpass
