Street Art Sundays has officially gone global, for Febuary’s edition I headed out to the Cape Town,South Africa, and dropped in on the inaugural international public art festival.
The first ever street art festival in Cape Town kicked off with a mixture of local and international street artists grabbing a wall and getting to work.
Local children were also invited to paint alongside the artists, in the festival. By bringing international art to the streets of Salt River, the festival has helped regenerate homes and businesses, and renewed the pride of local residents.
